Estimating Your Cost of Living and Finding Out What Salary You'll Need to Sustain Your Lifestyle

I found this cool site that helps you calculate how much you'll need to live in NZ. Go to this link below to estimate your cost of living using the calculator that's provided.

http://www.emigratenz.org/cost-of-living-in-new-zealand.HTML

For an idea as to how much you’ll need to pay for rent, go to this link

http://www.dbh.govt.nz/housing/tenancy/Market-Rent/market%20rent%20region.asp

If you are going to rent a flat or apartment, you can put $0 as the estimate for “house maintenance”, “house insurance” and “council rates”, as those only apply if you own the house you’ll live in.

Looking at the estimate for fuel, I feel you might want to add a few more dollars because of increasing oil prices. You’ll more likely consume $50 to $60 worth of petrol weekly with today’s prices.

Once you’ve estimated your weekly expenses, the calculator will find out for you how much salary you’ll need to sustain your chosen lifestyle.

If not, you might have to cut on some of the non-vital expenses, o kaya baka kailangan mag-work din si esmi kahit part-time lang.

  • blissful babe,
    1 NZ dollar = 0.66 US Dollar
More or less as of today 1 NZ$ is about 35 pesos.

Try mo search ng jobs online
    http://www.telecom.co.nz/tcnzcareers/1,3907,203722-203025,00.html
    or www.seek.co.nz

Thanks bro, i will appreciate most if matulungan mo ako dito, more power to you.
